What does this tool actually measure?
Readiness, in seven weighted categories: whether AI crawlers such as GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot are allowed to fetch the page, whether your content exists in the raw HTML rather than only after JavaScript runs, your schema.org markup, how extractable your structure is, your entity and trust signals, freshness, and technical hygiene. Every point comes from something we can read off the page, so the same URL always scores the same.
Does this tell me how often ChatGPT mentions my brand?
No, and any free tool claiming to do that is worth a second look, because measuring it means running live queries against each engine. This grades the upstream causes instead: whether engines can reach you, parse you and lift a passage from you. Why is crawler access weighted so heavily?
Because it is the only category that can zero out everything else. A single 'Disallow: /' under 'User-agent: GPTBot' in your robots.txt makes the page permanently uncitable in ChatGPT no matter how good your content or schema is. Why does JavaScript rendering matter for AI search?

Do I need an llms.txt file?
Probably not. We check for it and report what we find, but no major AI engine is confirmed to read it today, so we award it zero points rather than pretend it is a win. Spend the effort on crawler access, server-rendered content and schema instead.
Is there a usage limit?
There is a generous daily cap per visitor to keep the tool free for everyone, and repeat checks of the same URL are served from cache for 24 hours, so re-checking a page you just graded does not count against you.
Do you store the pages you check?
We keep the scored report for 24 hours so repeat lookups are instant, and we do not store your page's content beyond the fields shown in the report. There is no signup, so we are not collecting your email either.
